  My Opinion About Crime and Punishment Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoevsky is a very deep and intense novel. In my opinion, it is a story that makes readers reflect about morality, guilt, and justice. The novel tells the story of Raskolnikov, a young student who commits a crime and later suffers because of his own conscience. What I find most interesting is how the author describes the psychological conflict of the main character. The story shows that punishment is not only physical or legal, but also emotional and mental. From my point of view, this novel teaches that every action has consequences. Even if someone tries to justify a bad decision, their conscience will always remind them of what they did.
